My hat goes out to Equinox: Thanks man, this worked a treat with Service Pack 3 and Photoshop. I have the same question I am running Windows 7 Pro on a home built PC. Anyone had a perfecction issue? How long have I already been trying to install my old old scanner to win7 64, again and again — and finally works!!!

I installed following your instructions. And everything works just fine! Finally, I think it is working at an perfeection level, although different than with my old computer.

Epson perfecction this scanner in some countries as the GTU. Do you have boxes full of photos in a drawer? I did download something earlier to help with Windows 7 and it worked fine, but new situation now and still have the old good scanner.

I currently have the epson driver 5. Note that I haven't tried this myself so this is not a recommendation. After having my Windows 7 computer for a month, I have I think got my scanner working, thanks to this webpage.

Don't know who created the driver package Tried all possible ways and nothing is working for me. Your suggestion works just fine, when exactly followed your steps! Unfortunately, I cannot offer any additional advice in your cases.

If you check off all these, you should get and run the downloadable package extract it if necessaryand follow the displayed instructions for a complete and successful installation.
